Let’s explore the opportunities in the outdoor classroom. We will discuss adaptations and modifications to exploring outdoor science, nature play and playgrounds making access and participation available to all children. We will examine some outdoor spaces and evaluate the accessibility of the space and identify ways to increase access for young children with disabilities. You will also have a chance to create an action plan for adaptations and modifications for your outdoor environment. Please bring photos of your outdoor spaces and playground. These can be digital or printed.
